  Flesh and Blood
  This week will be a standard Classic Constructed event. The event will begin at 6:30 and run until approximately 9:30-10 pm. Please arrive between 5:30-6:15pm to get registered and ready to play as this is a Free To Play event but space is limited. Come meet new friends and have some fun playing with the newest sets of Flesh And Blood!!

  Casual Commander Thursday
  Come find some other Commander players to have some casual games with! Bring your own pre-made deck, or buy one of the new Commander decks to check them out! Event runs from 3pm to 8pm and is a free to play, player list event. Just come and go as you need!

  HeroClix is back for more minatures shenanigans! Come on by and harass our resident players for a game!

  Pokemon!
  Join us at Atomic Planet Comics for our Gym Leader Challenge Weekly League. At APC, we are following the model implemented at Full Grip Games (in Akron, OH). the cradle of the Gym Leader Challenge format. When a player wins a Gym Leader Challenge event at APC, they are rewarded with a personalized Trainer Card which is marked with the type they won with and posted on the GLC leader board located in the play area. Each time that player wins with a different type, it is marked on their Trainer Card with a badge (sticker). Players are not rewarded for winning with the same type twice in a season.
  
  The season starts on 4/25/25, and it ends on 4/24/26. The player who has won with the most different types at the end of the season will win the title of Gym Leader Challenge League Champion. In the case of a tie, a best of seven conquest finals will be arranged to determine the winner. As a reward for their efforts, the overall winner will receive a booster box of the most recent Pokémon TCG set (based on availability).
  
  The registration cost for the event is $6.00, and the top 3 players of the evening will be rewarded with store credit (based on attendance). The goal of hosting a Gym Leader Challenge League Championship series is to give local players a sense of community and something to strive for while competing throughout the year. By encouraging players to try different decks, league goers will challenge themselves and try strategies they may not have otherwise considered. For many players, earning a League Card is a huge accomplishment and something that is worth playing for. In order to be respectful of everyone’s time, we will play 3 rounds (a fourth round will be played if time permits, or if we have 9 players or more). We will play 40-minute rounds plus 3 turn extension as needed.

  Paper or custom proxies are not permitted. Non-English language and World Championship Deck cards will be allowed. If you choose to play with cards in a foreign language, please have a reference image of the card in English and keep it on you for translation purposes. Cards not released in the U.S. are not allowed.

  Come join us for a special Double Event: League Cup and League Challenge!!
  
  For the League Cup: Join us for an exciting day of competitive Pokémon Trading Card Game action at our Pokémon League Cup! Test your skills, earn Championship Points, and compete for the exclusive Champion Playmat. Whether you're a seasoned player or just getting started, this event is a great opportunity to challenge other Trainers and enjoy a friendly, official tournament setting. Round 1 begins promptly at 12:00 PM — please arrive early to check in and submit your deck list. Entry Fee: $20 for all age divisions What to bring: -A legal Standard-format deck -A completed deck list (players are welcome to use RK9 Labs to print their deck lists) -Player ID (available at Pokémon Trainer Club) -Damage counters -Condition markers (Burn and Poison) -A randomizer — either a coin or a Pokémon-legal die Note: The Phantasmal Flames expansion is legal for this event. Players who make top cut will be rewarded!
  
  For the League Challenge: Come join us for our next TCG League Challenge at Atomic Planet Comics! Registration for this event opens on Wednesday April 8th at 12 Noon and closes on Saturday, April 11th at 2:30 pm. The event will begin on Saturday, April 11th at 3:00 pm. The registration fee will be $10.00 to cover prize support to Top 3 (minimum, prize support will change depending on the number of participants). Prizes will be based on attendance. This is a standard format event. You will need a 60-card deck in standard format, deck list, randomizer, damage counters, and condition markers.
  
  
  
  

Comic Club Subscriptions

Here at Atomic Planet Comics, we offer a weekly pull service! It is free to join, and you will save 10% off of anything you have us order for you! You can fill out one of our "high tech" forms in-store, or follow the link below to add your information to our store page at League of Comic Geeks! Every Wednesday, as new comics are released, we will have any books you have requested/subscribed to pulled and stored behind the counter, ready for you to pick them up in your own designated bin! In order to be a part of the Club, we do ask that you have at least 1 ongoing title pulled each month; which does include mini-series. You can add or removed titles at any time and there is NO commitment to purchase books you are no longer interested in reading or picking up. We also ask that you come in at least once a month to pick up any books that are on hold for you, but if you need more time than that as long as we are communicating we can hold them for as long as you need. If you have any questions, please give us a call or stop on by and we'll answer them for you!
